Hello!

Maya Henderson is an illustrator and comic artist based in the US. She is currently a senior at the Maryland Institute College of Art, pursuing a BFA in illustration with a minor in sequential art. Her art explores themes of nostalgia, childhood, and black culture. She is especially interested in working with projects in kid lit, comics, and editorial illustration. When she isn't drawing, she likes watching commentary YouTube videos, playing with her cats, and cooking Pinterest recipes. She is currently available for freelance work.
